Morgan Porter - PGA Professional

I took up golf in the summer of 2010, when I finally hung up my football boots and needed a new excuse to be outside. Sport has always been in my DNA: I was Hampshire Schools Javelin Champion three years running, played football from the age of two, and was proud to represent Wales in the 1990s. I captained the side in 1994, picked up around 46 caps, and spent plenty of time travelling around Europe kicking a bit of plastic about. I’ve never been one for sitting still, and golf originally started as “something to do”… which clearly got out of hand! Fast forward 16 years and I somehow found myself becoming a PGA Professional in 2024 after my captaincy year at Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club. I’ve since run some hugely successful coaching trips abroad, especially to Spain — growing from eight ladies, to 12 mixed couples, and most recently 16 ladies in April (proof that golf trips and sunshine are a winning combination). I’m passionate about growing the game, particularly getting more women and beginners involved at grassroots level. My philosophy is simple: golf should be fun — it’s a hobby, not a punishment. I’ll be running more trips very soon and they’re open to anyone, so if you fancy improving your golf, having a laugh, or both… give me a call and let’s work on YOU next.

Tom Creed - Assistant PGA Professional

I started working in the Pro Shop in 2021 with aspirations of turning Professional in 2022. Seeing my colleagues get such enjoyment from coaching golf and also having the experience of coaching cricket and football, I felt that I was going to be able to offer something unique to those that I taught. I’m a big fan of the mental and course management side of golf and am really keen to get coaching!

Jack Osborne

I started golf at a very early age then eventually joined west Surrey aged 10. I then started playing in competitions across the county which led to me being selected to represent Surrey Golf, which I did in every age group from under 12’s to Men’s. Along side that I have also played in numerous junior and men’s national tournaments, which has given some great experiences which I am looking forward to using in my coaching to help other golfers improve. Playing off a plus figure handicap for the last 6 years, I am ready for a new challenge as a professional golfer.
