Duncan and his team are all fully qualified PGA coaches offering one-to-one lessons both on the practice ground and the course. Visitors are more than welcome to have lessons with us.
They are all equipped with the latest video analysis software to record swings and instruct pupils - club members and visitors alike - on how they can play better golf.

Our Staff
Duncan Giblett - Head PGA Advanced Professional
Duncan joined West Surrey in January 2013. A county level tennis player and cricketer in his youth, Duncan became a golf professional in 2001 at East Devon Golf Club. In 2005 he moved to London with a short spell as Assistant at Royal Wimbledon and then to Wyke Green Golf Club in West London,ultimately as Director of Golf/Head Professional. Since his arrival at West Surrey, he has introduced a new Professional team, given the shop a fresh look and helped enhance the look and playability of the driving range. A new academy for both adults and juniors has been introduced as well as a competitive retail operation. He is a member of the Foremost buying group which is the largest buying group in the UK with over 1000 professionals. Duncan has an excellent reputation in coaching all ages and abilities and is always keen to get new golfers into the game. In 2017 Duncan was awarded the status of 'Advanced' PGA Professional for his services to the game and his continual Professional development.
Zack Bedford - Assistant PGA Professional
I have been fortunate enough to grow up on the links in St Andrews from an early age. Having progressed through their junior ranks, I turned professional in 2016 to compete on tours around the country. After graduating from the University of St Andrews in 2018, I gained experience in golf not just by playing; I also caddied in the summers, and worked at The Open and at Dunhill Links Championships. I’m now twenty-eight years old and ready for the next stage in my golfing career - achieving my coaching credentials in order to help others enjoy the game that I love. Expect enthusiasm and passion for golf if you stop to have a chat in the pro shop.
